Cristiano Ronaldo was booked for diving in the Rayo Vallecano's box after he was chopped down by Antonio Amaya in a 2-0 victory against Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday.
Real Madrid's manager
Carlo Ancelloti plans to appeal the yellow card given to Portuguese striker for
diving in the box. Referee Mario Melero Lopez unfairly cautioned Cristiano Ronaldo after
he was chopped down by the Rayo Vallecano's defender Antonio Amaya in 56th
minute. The yellow card resulted in suspension of Cristiano Ronaldo in the match
against Eibar on
Saturday, 11th April 2015.
Besides Cristiano Ronaldo suspension, James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos were also booked but the Madrid's manager Carlo wanted the yellow card booked to Cristiano Ronaldo to be rescinded. Carlo Ancelloti plans to appeal the yellow card given to the Ballon d'Or holder. Real Madrid believed that he should be given a Penalty instead of a yellow card by the referee.
A statement from Real Madrid on twitter read "Real Madrid will appeal the yellow card that Cristiano Ronaldo received in yesterday's game against Rayo in Vallecas"

Real Madrid's German midfielder Toni Kroos and Colombian Forward James Rodriguez, most probably, would not be able to play against Eibar on Saturday. They were also booked on Wednesday, 8th April 2015.
However the yellow card couldn't stop the Portuguese forward from scoring goals and Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 300th goal against Rayo Vallecano and now is the leading scorer in Liga BBVA with 36 goals. Ronaldo remained angry with the officials full time.
"I
told the referee that everyone saw it was a penalty, Ancelotti said after the
game."I
told him it was incredible that he didn't award a penalty and that he showed
Cristiano the yellow card. We will appeal."
